Sugar mill waste water is also high in organic loading. The COD of sugar wastewater varying with 2000 to 4000 mg/l. Sugar wastewater is also FOG. NWD have installed many  sugarmill wastewater treatment unit and most of the our unit are activated sludge with SBR configuration. Our treatment scheme is preliminary treatment included FOG trap, equalization followed by SBR.
